How Clade Started
Hi, I'm Holly! Gardening has always been my lifelong passion. My mom still has pictures of 2-year old me, watering her plants in a flower hat. I fell in love with Dahlias back in 2018, & it's been an obsession ever since. For years, I kept a spreadsheet to track my inventory, but after having my daughter, I had to give it up -- it was just too time-consuming. That's when Joe stepped in to help solve this problem -- for me, & hopefully for all of you!
& I'm Joe! I'm actually a software engineer -- not a gardener (I do help carry & move a whole lot of plants & pots in the yard though). But after watching Holly spend countless hours documenting her dahlias, I knew I could help. So we built Clade to make inventory management easier, faster, way less stressful, & dare I say, fun!
